- Near Luke Lee's home at Garvagh Ballinalee there is a forth, and a leipreachan is said to live there and a light is said to be seen there at night. The light is supposed to give him light at his work of mending shoes. No one was known to try to catch him or to endeavour to get his gold.
- The leipreachan is from ten inches to a foot in height. He wears a green coat a red breeches, and a pointed hat of green or red. His shoes are pointed at the toes and curl up a couple of inches.
