    the following signs:-
    If a spider is seen making its web is a sign of rain. If the midges are not biting well is a sign of rain. If the midges are jumping on the water is a sign of rain. When the old people have pains in their veins they say it is a sign of rain. If there is a blue flame in the fire it is a sign of thunder.
    There are many local signs about this Parish. If it is raining and if it brightens off near Curry side is a sign that it will clear off that day. If the Drumlish bell is heard at Ballagh Bridge is a sign of good weather.
