  1. We play a good deal of games.
    "Foxes" are played out on the open. One person is a dog and all the other children are foxes, the dog lets out the foxes out of the den, then the dog runs after them and if he catches any one of them they help him to catch the others and the first one caught has to begin the next game.
    "Tig" is first given out by one child and whoever it falls on has to begin to have the "tig" and all the others run away and the person who has the tig tried to tig them.
    "Rounders" is played with a ball. There are twelve sticks struck down in the ground about three yards apart, then the child who has the ball throws it to one of the others at the first stick, them if that child hits it with
