    Snuffles.
    This is cured by putting the grease from the first set of wake candles on the nostril.

    Roasted salt in an old stocking wrapped round the neck is very good.

    Blotting paper soaked in salt petre, a piece should be lit and inhaled, during an attack.
    An ordinary cold.
    Taking three sips of cold water in honour of the Holy Trinity every morning fasting. Scalded buttermilk and butter is considered a great possit for a bad cold.
    Hernia
    A triangle bandage and a skein of wool by keeping the patient lying or sitting for nine days.
    Feet.
    Shaking fuller'searth in the feet of socks and stockings hardens the feet. Soft feet are cured by spending as much time as possible in Summer running through the bog.
    Wasp and bee stings.
