    house one of Shaw's fields called Cain's farm. The house fell but the stones are there still. There was a barracks on the Riverdale road . The place is occupied by McKenneas now and the black hole is closed up.
    There are ruins of an old house which belonged to Brian Lynch in Ballinahee. He has a new house now. Down an old Boreen there is an old house called Hughes'. The walls are to be seen yet. It had a thatched roof. It belongs to Dargan's now. There is an old house owned by Tom Ivory in Ballinahee. There is an old ruin on the Corbetstown where Patrick Murray lived. On the far side of the road there is the ruin of an old house belonging to Jack Cunningham. His nephew built him a room in the forge but he is dead now and
