    with field stones during the past fifty years because a heifer of Michael Fay RIP fell into it and was killed.
    This treasure is guarded by a black cat, and lights which are seen sometimes in Faughalstown are supposed to shine from this cats eyes. The following story is told as a proof of the existence of the underground passage.
    About forty years ago Larry Kelly RIP while loosening soil with a crow bar prior to second moulding potatoes loosened some stones and the srow bar slipped from his hands into the ground. He heard it tinkling as on stone beneath him.
