    Before Gaelic football was invented, there was another way for playing football such as from townsland to townsland. The townslands that they used to paly on in this Parish were Ardlonan and Horath. The field was owned by a man named Farrell and it was divided since. One half of the field was in Horath and the other half was in Ardlonan. The first Gaelic Game of football
