  1. Some years ago a man named David Corcoran lived outside Trim with his sister-in-law. One day she was boiling potatoes and she sent him out to get some sticks. When he went out he stood on a stray sod and he was taken to Fairyland. There the Fairies told him he would see a leprechaun sitting under a tree and ask him for the gold.
    When David came back he went into the house with the bundle of sticks and he asked was the potatoes boiled and his brother told him that he had been missing for two years and that his sister-in-law
