  1. We - the people of the Royal County Meath - are nearby all the descendants of very old Irish or Anglo-Norman familys. Some of our ancestors may have hunted with Finn and his bold warriors long long ago, some may have been among the first to welcome St. Patrick to the beautiful county where it may be said the first seeds of our Irish faith were planted, these seeds which grew and bore such abundant fruit. Those of us who are not so fortunate as to be able to trace our ancestors back to the first of the Celts may at least
