    before going to bed at night is an old cure for a sore throat.
    Ringworm: Sulphur and a quarter pound of butter mixed. When applying the cure say three hail marys. To be rubbed every morning after washing.
    Warts: Get a snail and rub him on the wart. The snail must be got on a bush when rubbing him on the wart bless yourself three times.
    Sore ear: A sore ear is cured by holding it over a mug of boiling water and let the steam get into it.
