  1. In my father's young days there lived a man named Colgan in Galtrim, Co. Meath.
    One night at twelve o'clock he was going home; suddenly he heard the sound of a football being kicked. He looked out into the field, and sure enough he saw small men kicking football.
    He went out to them and when they saw him they shouted "Here comes Colgan." He was invited to play for one of the teams; his side won
