    ones are fit for eating in January.
    Wooden ploughs were used long ago, and they were in existence about twenty years ago.
    I never saw a wooden plough, and they are never used nowadays.
    People don't help each other in this part of the country.
    When potatoes are dug out in November all in the household help to pick them.
    Some potatoes are put into pits while others are spread out on the floor of a stable. They are covered with dry hay or straw.
    "British Queens" and "Golden Wonders" are the best potatoes grown in this district.
    Potatoes are very good food. Starch for clothes is made out of potatoes.
