    driven into the sale paddocks and a penny a head is paid to the man at the gate, who attaches a number to each beast. the animals are then put into the "ring" in the auction mart.
    Here they are sold by auction and the buyer pays five per sent auction fees. This method does away with the old traditional bargining but never the less "Luck money" is usually given.
