  1. At the present time there are three forges but in years gone-by there was one in Skeagmore another in Annagassan one in Dunany, and many others. There is an old forge in Annagassan but I don't know who owned it.
    Darby's is at a crossroads. There is a wel beside the forge, but they don't use it for the forge but people use it for tea.
    There are two doors in Darby's and one is square. There is one fireplace in it. Long ago Moores of the Brittas used plough with bullocks but they never got them shod.
