  1. When the Blessed Virgin and St. Joseph, and our Lord were going into Egypt, they met a tinsmith on the way, and the Blessed Virgin asked him to make a pin, with which to fasten her shawl.
    He refused her, and said he had to be going away. Then she said he would always have to travel for his living. The next person they met was a blacksmith. The blessed virgin asked him to make a pin for her and he made it. She said then he would never have to travel for his living.
