    are wanted around a house .He also sold tobacco.The boys used to get a lot of tobacco out of him. When he used come from Ennis with a load the boys who used to be in cuard there used go out to bring in goods and they used steal the tobacco.
    There were other shops around too.They were Margaret Keane near the smith Reidy's forge, Seán peader ,south of Connolly church.They sold tea ,sugar,american, meat ,soda salt,sweets,and cakes ,apples and oranges.The old people used buy with money ,but the youngsters used steal eggs,turf and potatoes and give them for sweets
