    Apply a cold object to the nape of the neck.

    Procure a nettle leaf, lay it flat on the palm of one hand, strike it flat with the other and apply it to the palate to stop bleeding from the nose.

    Place a cobweb on the cut to stop the flow of blood

    A plentiful supply of pig dung is applied to the wound.
    The writer has seen the effectiveness of this both on man + beast.
