    carrying back the priest he asked him how much money he had earned saying Masses. The priest told him and the boy said, "You may thank me for it." The priest gave him half the money. The boy told him the whole story that his brother was there and that he went home starved. You did the right thing" said the priest you got all these Masses said for their parents souls." The boy stayed there until he made his fortune.
