  1. Yarrow is said to be a very good cure for pains, such as sciatica and many others.
    Dandelion is excellent for those who suffer from indigestion. A coffee can be made from the roots and a good health-giving wine can be made from the flowers gathered in Spring or Autumn. The juice of the dandelion cures warts.
    Dock Root makes a very good mouth-wash and it is used to remove ulcers and sores. It is also used to cure a sting of a nettle.
    Oak Bark is a great remedy for redness in the eyes for young and old.
    Lily of the Valley is of great benefit in heart diseases.
    Marigold is a very good remedy for measles.
    Tansy is of great service in diseases of nervousness. It is used for expelling worms.
    Elderflowers are used in diseases of epilepsy. They are also used in cases
