  1. Sliabhárda
    believed to be formerly called Sliabhta Árda instead of Sléibhte Árda

    * The Commons (Na Coimíní) (a)
    It is said 3 Landlords quarrelled here over the boundary lines of their properties. They kept going to Law till the three of them got broken and the place (about 78 acres) was left direlect.
    * The Commons (Na Coimíní) (b)
    It is in a hollow and roads and way into it are "crooked"

    Foile'acaimíní (Foileacamin)
    right over in the hills convenient this townsland is situated adjoining "Na Coimíní"

    * Williamstown (Baile Líam)
    Some big family of the Sullivan or Butler clan supposed to live here in ancient times. The Butlers were once Lords of this Barony of Slievardagh.

    * New Park
    consists of only about 80 or 90 acres and only two families occupy all. It may have been a Park for Deer or for other purposes connected with Williamstown townland.

    * (These three places only - still bear their English names among the surrounding townslands)
