    (1) "Anthony's Fire" is cured with Cahill's blood applied to the affected part.
    (2) An herb called "Lady's Chalice" the root of which should be boiled on milk, was supposed to be a cure for the "Whooping Cough", or to ask a man with a white horse, "What cures the whooping cough?, and do whatever he says.
    (3) Dandelion was supposed to cure consumption or decline if taken in time.
    (4) Ground ivy boiled on milk was supposed to cure dysentery.
    (5) Pileworth is an herb with green glossy leaves supposed to cure piles.
