  1. There is a field in Cloran between Slievenambán and the Anner and its name is Carews Liss. In this field there is a big stone the remains of an old altar and the figure of Our Lord is cut out in it and there is a small stone near it and it is shaped like a loaf of bread. There is writing on it but it is very hard to read it. It is said that if the stone was brought away it would go back again. This field is now the property of Mr. Nicholis O Shea
