On this page
- A farmer who lives near the school and whose name is Pierce Maher owns fields near the creamery which are called "Bunker", (Bun-Curraig). These fields are high rugged fields at the end of a boggy or marshy place. The name Bunker then seems most likely to have come from the Irish Bun-Curraig which means the end of the bog.
