    half a mile away from the original place with the self same tree growing over it. The place was then called "Tobar" and ever since the townland is still known as "Tobar".
    People go there now and again to be cured of certain diseases such as sore ears and sore eyes and curs have been affected too. When people visit the well to be cured they generally leave some momento after them such as a coin, a rosary, a holy picture and even buttons.
