    to lift it but as they did so the wind arose and roared like thunder and from opening in the ditch many men on horse-back appeared. The leader was carrying a shining sword. They came to where the men were digging and brandishing his weapon over their heads (he desistd B) he called on them to desist. Being frightened they left their tools and ran away leaving the treasure behind. From that day to this the marks are there and lights are often seen guarding it.
