  1. One night a man was returning home from Limerick about twelve o'clock. When he reached a certain part of the road he was greatly surprised to hear the galloping of horses and the crying of hounds.
He stood for a while listening to the hunt but after a while he knew that it was not a real hunt so he ran home as fast as he was able but while he was running he could hear the crying of the hounds.
When he reached home he did not spare time to take of his clothes but jumped into bed as quickly as he could.
