    into his breeches pocket and back with him to the wife. The little man started to hiss inside and Will's wife wanted to know how he got back so soon.
    "Begor" says Will "I have the old lad safe this turn" - "I have him in the purse"
    He used to take out the purse now and again and leave it down on the anvil and give it a few belts of the sledge.
    The little man shouted out of the purse "Will, you have me safe this time. If you leave me out I'll have no more to do with you."
    "All right" says Will "off you go"
    After a time Will died and went up to St. Peter and asked to be let into Heaven. St. Peter said -
    "I can't leave you in Will. You have dealing with another old gentlemen. Go to him and he have the best right to you."
    "All right" says Will, "I'll go to my friend downstairs"
    He went down and knocked at the door and someone asked who was there.
    "Tell him" says Will "that tis his old friend Will Cooper"
    "Don't let that fellow in here or he'll ..."
