    One time there stood a little hut in a lonely mountain. There lived in it a man, woman and two children. One night the woman fell sick and died. When the children were going to bed a couple of night after, they heard a knock at the window. One of them and fell dead.

    One Christmas night a woman from Glin was lighting candles...

    One Christmas night, a woman from Glin was lighting candles. As she was lighting one of them, she said, "I will light this for my father". In the morning the two sides of the candle were lighting, for her mother needed light as well as her father.
