  1. Cromlechs
    Ballyculhane has two cromlechs not shown on a map quite close to each other and to the ancient path called Claidhe Ruadh)
    There are some pillar stones at intervals for about 1/2 a mile along Claidhe Ruadh There is another cromlech at Tarmons.
    Not far from Balllygoughlin school is a field called "Lios an Ghutha" or lios of the puddle
    Lios a gcrúdh is the name given to a field where the old Knight led a humble life when he refused to conform. He had then to give up all his land but this field.
