  1. A Lios is situated in Mr. Barry's farm in Shanbally. It can be entered by a deep trench which leads into the chamber. The door is wide but about two yards inside the passage is very narrow and anyone who would want to get into the chamber should crawl into it. In this chamber there are three rooms which are very dark, but as you make your way through it is not so bad.
    Inside in the second room there is a chimney. Some people say that a cloth and an old shoe were found in it, but they were not preserved. Outside it is covered with flowers and furze. About two or three years ago this chamber fell in altogether and now no one can enter it.
