  1. When you are beginning to seed sow, lay a cross of palm under the first sod with a piece of blessed wax candle lighting and do the same under the last sod in finishing the field. Get a handful of Wall Rue i.e. lusura na seár nsa and put it on about a quart of spring water.
    Then bottle it up, and as you are sowing your seed sprinkle a little of this on it. Every minuver(sic) in this must be done in the name of the father, son and holy gost (sic) amen.
