    Travelling Folk call to this district. The same have done so for over twenty years. They are not very poor. People buy the small articles which those people sell.
    They obtain their supplies from Cork and other places. The travellers are generally welcomed by the people of the district. They remain in the farmers' houses for a night and they generally sleep in lofts. They carry food with them and accept alms. They travel in cars and not on foot. They travel in families and not in bands. They uasally tell queer stories and are all anxious to hear them.
