    I live in Bolomore in the parish of Dromtarriffe in the Barony of Duhallow. There are twenty two families in my townland and there are about 81 people. There are ten thatched houses and twelve slated house in Bolomore. There are five old people in Bolomore:-
    Thade Donoghue, Den Murphy James Riordan, Dan Mahony and Mrs Mahony.
    James Riordan is a fluent Irish speaker but he was born and reared in Ballyvourney.
