    When we see the dog eating grass, and when the cat likes to be near the fire it is a sign of snow. When we see the ants, and spiders flying around on a summer's day it is a sign of a break in the weather, also a blue light in the fire and the soot falling from the chimneys is a sign of rain.

  2. The sun is pale and hidden in the clouds when the weather is to be bad. When the moon is flat so that you could hang your cap on it, that is the sign of bad weather. When the stars are falling that is a sign of next day being bad.
