   The district in which I live abounds with place-names of fields and cliffs and rocks, and the most of them are Irish. The names are very hard to convert into English language, because as time went on the words were changed. This follows with a list of fields Gort na Ceárdhna, Leac Amháin, Páirc na Scoile Páirc na Loca Páirc an Tíghe Páirc na Claise Gort Caol Árd na Gaoithe Pairc ó (?) Páirc Garbh Páirc Caol Gort an Tobair Cnucán (?) Dóighthe Cnucán Reamhar Cár na Caoirig Páirc Núa(?) Páirc Árd Túirín Ciaráin Dún Beag Páirc an Tigh(?) The following is a list of coastal names Carraigléa Bun Naun (?) Locán Illaunathough Carraig an Éisc Faill na gCaorach Carraig an Éisc Faill na dTaidg Many of those places and names are to be found in many places through-out the Island such as "Tuirín Ciaráin". There is a strand called "Tráigh Ciaráin and is still known by the same name and we conclude from that, that St. Kieran must have landed on the strand once upon a time.
