    These are some of the many old prayers I have learned at home.
    This is the prayer which was said when commencing work:-
    "Jesus, Mary and Joseph help me."
    "Here goes: In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost."
    When going on a journey:-
    "Holy Mary come with me I m going."
    "My Angel Guardian protect me."
    When going to bed:-
    "God give me a good night's rest"
    As I lie down upon my bed,
    There are four angels on this spread,
    O Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John,
    God bless me and the bed I lie on.
    Another prayer said when going to bed:-
    O crucified Jesus have mercy on me,
    My soul and my body I give unto
