    Burns. Fresh unsalted butter forms the basis for many ailments especially for burns and sores. It may be remarked here that fresh unsalted butter and bees wax makes an excellent sticking plaster.
    Nerve Tonic. Herbal and vegetable preparations are widely known. An infallible nerve tonic is a dandelion brew, which is allowed to simmer for an hour over a slow fire.
    Rashes. During March everybody is recommended to take three meals of boiled nettles
