some air. After a time the butter will be made as well as if made in a real churn.
It is hard to make butter in the hot weather and it must be made early in the morning or in the cool of the evening. Buttermilk is left over after making the butter and it is a very healthy drink but it is often weak when water must be added to make the butter. If a person comes in to a person comes into a house while butter is being made somepeople could not leave him out until he helps to make it. The say he would take their luck away.
