  1. Once a man and his wife and three sons were living together in this district. One night the three sons went visiting and the man went to bed.
The woman was spinning yarn by the fireside coming down the steps beside the house. She thought it was one of her sons returning and took no notice. After a while a being dressed in white appeared through the door and went under the bed. She was not very frightened until the spinning wheel started woking itself. Then she ran up to the room where her husband was in bed, but the being caught her by the hair when she reached the room door. The husband took courage and questioned the being which disappeared and never bothered them again.
