Pat Roddy owned a number of cows. They were grazing at the far end of his land. At that time he kept a servant girl and she used to go for the cows every morning at six o'clock. One morning she went for the cows and she saw a woman going from cow to cow with a noggin (a small wooden vessel) and milked all the cows. When the girl saw the woman she was very puzzled. She brought home the six cows and milked the remainder of the milk from the cows. She then put the milk in crocks as usual. After(continues on next page)- Collector
