    Churning
    The milk was put into the churn and churned in the same way today. If a person came into a house where a churning was being made and if that person did not offer to help with the churning the people of the house would be very angry.
    Story. Long ago Michael Farrell, Crenane was going to a fair, and he had an oaten cake in his pocket for his lunch. He went into a house where they were making a churning because he wanted to light his pipe
