    ring-worm. When the child is born the people of the house get a worm and put him into the childs hand and keeps him there until he dies then he has the cure for ring-worm. The person suffering from the ailment goes to a man who is the seventh son on Monday and Thursday. The man will rub the hand that the worm was put in when he was born, on the wound and while doing so says a few prayers then it will be cured.
    To cure the Varicose Veins you must put a piece of cumfrey to the vein when it bursts.
