  1. Cure of Mumps
    Place an asse's halter around the person's neck and lead him in and out to the pig sty three times while saying "Leckna, leckna, muckna muc"
    Cure of Stye on the Eye
    1. The Cure to be made after sunset
    2. Nine gooseberry thorns are required.
    3. The person who makes the cure blesses himself with each thorn in turn. The person to be cured blesses himself also. (once)
    4. Each of the nine thorns is pointe4d at the eye & while doing so the person making the cure says "In the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost" three times. The thorn is then thrown over the right shoulder.
    5. The cure may have to made a second time.
    6.The person who makes the cure must be unmarried and unrelated to the person to be cured.
