  1. One night there was a number of men at Tom Walsh's house. Some of the men had glasses on them. There was a mad cat in the house. Some boys came to the house and looked in the window to see who was there. They went to the black of the house and began to rattle the slates. The cat heard them and attacked one of the men and broke his glasses and pulled out his eyes. The other men ran out the window. During the night the men cam back to see the man and he was dead.
