    barrels and tubs. The trade was carried on by people named Walsh; who lived in Ballygorey. Their descendants do not carry on the trade, but they are still known by the name of "Walshes the Coopers". It's about twenty five years ago now since any of that trade was carried on by them.
    Another family of Walshes in Ballygorey were weavers and carried on the trade very successfully up to about forty years ago. The family is still known by the nickname "Nee Dhora" (An Fhigheadóra) and individual members as "Tomás an Fhigheadóra" "Liam an Fhigheadóra etc.
