  1. Long ago when the people would want to make a quilt. They would get wool and card it and sin it and make it into thread.
    Then they would send it to the weaver and he would make flannel of it. Then he would send it home and the people would scour it out and wash it. Then they would dye it red or green.
    When it would by dry they would send it to the press to be pressed.
    Next they would go to the shop to buy lining for the quilt.
    Then they would get two long sticks called the frame and they would stitch the lining on to the quilt along the frame.
