    out of the oatmeal and no ingredients were put in it except some sugar and a little water. The cake was then (made) baked before the fire left on clean board and resting against a stool.
    Other kinds of bread were also made such as Boxty. This bread ws made from grated potatoes flour and salt. This bread was the usual bread used. It is still used in country-houses and is very nice.
