    A Mudwall Cabin
I am now going to relate a story about a mud wall cabin the ruins of which are there to this day. The cabin was situated in the downland of Glenstraduff and in the Parish of Geevagh. The name of the man that owned this cabin was Patrick McNiffe. The walls were made of mud which was got in the bog. This mud when dug up was mixed with water and then tramped with the feet until it (were) was hard en-ough to stay from in the wall.
