    the cry again and a woman saying "hush Paddy Malanys cow will soon be milked.
    As soon as the child heard it she topped crying. Paddy thought to drive the cow into the fort and by this means he thought to get rid of her.
    So he drove her into the fort. The next day he went to see if she as there. But he had not the intent-ion of bringing her home. When he went there she was not to be found.
    He saw no more of her until that day seven years when he, to his wonder saw her and seven black calves grazing with her in the field. She never spilled the milk after that.
