    As St Peter sat on a marble stone Our Lord came to him alone.
    O! Peter, Peter why do thee quake.
    My Lord I'm troubled with the tooth-ache.

    Any one says these prayers for my sake
    Shall never be tormented with the toothache
    Peter and Ave and the Creed
    A prayer before sleep.
    There are four corners on this bed, and four angels on its spread Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. God bless the bed that I lie on, and if I die before I wake I pray to God my should to take
